This beach is right outside the town center of Provincetown. It offers some of the best sunsets on Cape Cod, as well as distant views of Race Point Lighthouse. With its handicap accessibility, a snack bar that operates during the summer months, and the Province Lands Bike Trail nearby, Herring Cove bustles with activity throughout the year.

This big and beautiful beach is located at the very tip of Cape Cod and is part of the National Seashore. Sun worshippers should note that Race Point, because it is a north facing beach, gets sun all day long.

Narrow and long beach. The water tends to be warmer and the surf is very calm. Good spot to watch boats going in and out of the harbor.

Head down a long winding road (Longnook Road) and arrive at one of the prettiest ocean beaches in Truro. However, the only way to access this beach is by walking up a short path and climbing down the dunes to the beach. If you are not mobile or have very young children, this may not be the beach for you. This beach requires a Truro beach sticker.
